Shipping
I am excited to share with you that we are able to bring down the price for our international backers. It still isn't as good as shipping withing the US, but it is better. Here is the new pricing table:
Keep in mind that the shipping is still weight based and as you add items in the pledge manager and the pre-order store, you may get bumped up to a higher tier for shipping.
Pledge Manager and Pre-Order Store
Sorry this has taken longer than you may be accustomed to for other Kickstarter projects. I wanted to get this right. Now with the shipping decision being finalized, the Pledge Manager and Pre-Order store should be open next week. Look for the email to come.
If you missed your chance to order the 2021 Quest Calendar or if you want to upgrade your pledge or add on more, you will be able to so.

Post Campaign Update and Schedule

It has been two weeks since the campaign finished. We took a break to celebrate but got straight to work. There is no time to lose in order to get the 2021 Quest Calendar out there for you.
We put together a tight schedule, and since we want to be transparent as much as possible, we have some dates to share with you if you want to follow along.
This schedule leaves out some detail but we think it gives you a good idea of what is going over here at Sundial Games.
April
We began with planning the rest of the campaign and getting into the detail of some encounters and mapping out each day. We are about 65% done and are finishing that up in May.
We also brought on four more artists for a total of five working at this time. We got about 16% done with the art thus far and will be completing about 10% each week until July. We highly suspect we will be adding more at the end of May.

May
We are still negotiating shipping deals for our international backers and it is looking promising for them. However, it doesn't look like shipping will get better for our US backers though. We expect to have this finished within the next week so we can get the pre-order store open before the end of May.
June
The biggest update planned is to release a playable prologue at the beginning of June where you will be able to play the first 2 weeks of January.
As we continue to work through June, look for updates on how we will handle character death and the fantasy dates.

This campaign has been an incredible roller coaster ride for us. I am going to be thanking a lot of people over the next few weeks, but I wanted to start with YOU. Thank you for getting this funded, thank you for all the suggestions, comments, and questions.
Also, we unlocked the final stretch goal!
I just found out about these! Can I still buy one?
Unfortunately the campaign is now over... but you will be able to pre-order after we launch the pledge manager. Stay tuned!

Whats Next?
1) Rest. We will take a short break to celebrate before we start back to work on all there is to do to get this in your hands.
2) Payment - Kickstarter will bill your pledge amount to the credit card attached to your Kickstarter account. If there is an issue, they should continue to retry for 1-2 weeks. NOTE: We are not involved in this part of the transaction, so if you have a payment issue within this time period, we unfortunately won't be able to help; contact Kickstarter support directly instead.
3) Custom Designs - Some of you chose a tier where you will get a custom character, or get to design your own day.
- For those with a "Custom Day" we will get in contact with you very shortly to hash out your ideas and get it into the Quest Calendar.
- For those who picked a "Custom Character", we will get in contact with you a bit later. This will likely be around the same time as the pledge manager. We want to make sure we have enough of the Quest Calendar and Heroes ready to be able to focus on YOU and your hero!
4) Pledge Manager - As soon as we can get it ready, you'll be sent a survey from the pledge manager, in which you will confirm your order! This survey will give you the option to upgrade your pledge, add additional goodies, confirm your shipping address, and finalize your shipping charges. We will be using Backerkit.
Upcoming Updates
We will use Kickstarter to post regular updates. Look out for them. You will hear from us regarding the expected schedule, when the pledge manager will be open, when you can expect shipping, and everything else you may be interested in.

It is hard to believe that this time last week, we were close to having an unfunded project. And now we are more than 240% funded! It has been an amazing journey and we are grateful for each of you. Thank you!
Last Stretch Goal
With only a short time remaining, I have finally found the last stretch goal that I can safely offer. I say "safely" because as a first time creator, I have been given guidance to be cautious about the stretch goals that I offer. It is apparently common that focusing on these can bankrupt creators. I have taken that caution to heart. There are several things I would love to provide, but they may just have to be options for 2022.
So here it is: a small draw string dice bag to hold your mini dice when you aren't adventuring, or to take them with you! It will be unlocked at 55k and like the mini dice, it will come free with every 2021 quest calendar.
Shipping Info
With the success of this project, I have begun to enter talks with 3rd party shipping companies in hopes of bringing down the shipping costs. I think this will make international backers happy and more able to upgrade from the print and play version to get a physical copy. Still no detail yet on what those prices will be. And as long as you are a backer on Kickstarter for even a $1, you will be able to get the mini dice free with each Quest Calendar.
Clarification on the Custom Character

We got a question and realized it wasn't clearly stated in the project.
The custom character will not be printed with the calendar. Nor will it be available in the laminated character book. You will have it available to download and print. You will get a page for each level your character will achieve (along with their stat increases and new abilities).
If you choose to allow, we can make this character available to download for others on the website.
Apologies for any confusion.
